The First project done by SMD, this dental clinic is located just by a major road in a semi- basement space in the small yet bustling town of Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The space presented us with the challenge of being slightly obscure and not having the advantage of being visible from the street level. To mitigate the lack of direct visibility, we designed the branding outside the store and the ceiling element of the entire space inside, to stand out and sit apart from neighbouring stores. The floor plan showcases innovation by means of inducing angles in a rectilinear space thereby dispelling the more familiar notion of clinical spaces being boxy and boring.
