Completed in 2018 at The Quad, Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru’s Terminal 1, this outlet is the place of business for House of Kebabs, a premium food outlet serving about 200+ delicious meals to passengers flying to and from international and national destinations. The design challenge for SMD was to arrive at a simple, yet aesthetically appealing garden-themed outlet that was highly functional and could operate 24*7. The use of tinted glass, wooden elements and a pre-fabricated metal structure allowed the structured to be constructed and assembled on site within 4 weeks.
